Microsoft (Husco) Self-Service Password Reset Instructions
If you need to reset your Microsoft (Husco) password, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Password Reset Page
1. Go to the Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset page: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
2. You should see a page similar to this:
Step 2: Enter Your Husco email address.
1. In the User ID field, enter your Husco email address.
2. Enter the characters you see in the Captcha and click Next.
Step 3: Verify Your Identity
1. Choose a method to verify your identity. This may include:
- Email: Receive a verification code via email.
- Text: Receive a verification code via SMS.
- Call: Get a verification call on your phone.
- Authenticator App: Use the Microsoft Authenticator app.*
*Husco’s preferred method is to use the Microsoft Authenticator app.
2. Select your preferred method and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification.
Step 4: Enter the Verification Code
1. Enter the verification code you received via your selected method.
2. Click Next to continue.
Step 5: Create a New Password
1. Enter your new password in the New Password field.
- Ensure it meets Husco’s complexity requirements (e.g., minimum length of 15 characters, no use of your name, etc.)
2. Confirm the new password by entering it again in the Confirm New Password field.
3. Click Finish to complete the password reset process.
Step 6: Sign In with Your New Password
1. Return to the Microsoft sign-in page: (https://login.microsoftonline.com/.
2. Use your new password to sign in to your account.

No Access to Verification Methods: If you cannot access any verification method, contact your IT support for assistance.
Captcha Issues: Refresh the page or request a new code if the captcha is unreadable.
Password Requirements: Ensure your new password meets the security requirements set by Husco.
