If you find that
a user is unable to open their mailbox and may see the following error trying
to open their Web Mail
- Navigate to Microsoft 365 Admin Center and pull up the user. You may see the following errors:
- Ensure the user has an E5/M5 license assigned to them
- The part of the message form above with the value of "63e9e417-b604-4d67-8951-a89745aaff69" is the value we will be assigning to the user
- Log into the server EXCH1-WA
- Open the start menu and search for Exchange Management Shell (PowerShell with extra modules)

- Get-Recipient -Identity Nick.Liu@husco.com | fl ArchiveGuid, RecipientTypeDetails
- In our example we can see that the ArchiveGUID doesn't match the one in the error message
- Run the following command to set the ArchiveGUID we identified from above

- Set-RemoteMailbox -Identity Nick.Liu@husco.com -ArchiveGuid 63e9e417-b604-4d67-8951-a89745aaff69
- Run an Azure AD Delta Sync from ACS-WA

- Start-ADSyncSyncCycle -PolicyType Delta
- Verify there are no more errors on the M365 portal

- Check the "Account" tab as well as the "Mail" tab
- Verify the user can access their mailbox again
